    • Woman's Club Honors Mrs. Wolf

      Mrs. George Wolf, who will soon leave the city to make her home in Springfield [Missouri], was honored yesterday morning with a coffee at the home of Mrs. William Siebel, 1317 West High Street.

      Hostesses for the party were members of the Woman's Club, who presented teh honoree with a gift from the club.

      The coffee table was covered with a white organdy cloth laid over pink, and the centerpiece was an arrangement of bachelor buttons, ranging from pink to purple in shade.

      Mrs. Frank Blankenship and Mrs. E. M. Levy were in charge of the floral decorations for the party, while Mrs. Harry Dawdy and Mrs. Gene Gosch furnished special music during the party hours.

      District officers of the Federated Women's Clubs attending the party included Mrs. Walter Eddlemon, Mrs. Norris Stenberger, and Mrs. Dean Wilson.

      Club members assisting generally with the party included mrs. D. F. Barthel, Mrs. Billie Martin, Mrs. S. L. Englebrecht, Mrs. George Donohoe, Mrs. Lee Cass, Mrs. W. E. Sears, Mrs. Ed Worazeck?, Mrs. A. P. Stephan, Mrs. C. R. Link, and Mrs. C. E. Williams.

    Bernice Wolf was a descendant of James Morris and Susannah "Jane" (Moyers) Rexroat through their son, Lawson. It is possible her middle initial "L." stood for Lawson. Bernice was born in 1902 in Scotland Township, McDonough County, Illinois. In about 1925 she married George Edgar Wolf Sr., and they soon left Illinois for Missouri.
