    • Death of Mrs. John Hudson.

      Mrs. John Hudson died at the home of her son, J. A. Hudson, near Holbrook, Nebraska, Saturday evening last (October 19, 1907).

      The remains were brought to Morning Sun Tuesday and taken to the home of her son, Ed. Hudson, south of town.

      The funeral was held yesterday forenoon, Reverend E. A. Bentzinger of Yarmouth, conducting the services. The interment was at Elmwood cemetery, this place, Reverend C. R. Zimmerman saying the farewell service at the cemetery.

      Elizabeth Dowell was born in Indiana in 1847, and was married in this state to John Hudson in 1863.

      She was the mother of six sons and two daughters.

      Mr. and Mrs. Hudson lived in Washington township, Des Moines county, for several years, but about a year ago went to Nebraska to make their home with their son, John.

      Her husband and three sons, Willis, John and Allen, accompanied the remains to this place. A brother, Silas Dowell, of Gladstone, Illinois, was also present at the funeral.

      The old friends and neighbors sympathize with the family in the bereavement that has come to them.
