    • The funeral service for Mr. Bryan S. Walker, 42, who died Sunday, September 2, 2001, will be Thursday, September 6th, at 10:00 a.m. in Lunning Chapel. Pastor Mark Connelly will officiate. Friends may call after 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 5th, in Lunning Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m.. A memorial has been established.

    • Bryan S. Walker, 42, of Burlington, died at 9:06 p.m. Sunday, September 2, 2001, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.

      Born December 3, 1958, in Burlington, he was the son of Delmer and Kay Frances Coleman Walker. He married Kathy Walker on July 31, 1999.

      Mr. Walker was a 1977 graduate of West Burlington High School and attended barber college in Davenport. He was a barber for West Burlington Barber and Style, which he owned and operated for 12 years.

      He was a member of Harmony Bible Church. He loved racing and enjoyed sports, music and spending time with his family.

      Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jarett and J. D. Walker, both at home; two daughters, Jade and Caitlin Walker, both at home; his parents, both of Burlington; and one brother, Troy Walker of Burlington.

      He was preceded in death by his grandfather, his grandmother and an infant son.

      Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Wednesday in Lunning Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

      The funeral for Mr. Walker will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Lunning Chapel, with the Reverend Mark Connelly officiating.

      A memorial has been established.
