- Donnellson (IA) -- Funeral for Mrs. Dorothy Chatham, 63, rural Donnellson, who died in an auto accident north of West Point Sunday, June 30, will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Salem Congregational church, Reverend Edmund Neubauer; Salem East cemetery.
She was born November 13, 1910, in Henry county, the daughter of Charles and Retta Smith Brown. She married Delbert Kerr December 25, 1936; he died in 1951. She married Glen Chatham March 20, 1954, in Donnellson. She was a member of the Salem Congregational church.
Surviving: The husband; two children, Mrs. Louisa Elmore, West Burlington, and Richard Kerr, Burlington; four granddaughters, two grandsons and one step-grandson; and two brothers, Rec and Donald Brown, both of Mt. Pleasant.
Beatty-Jennings funeral home, Salem, is in charge of arrangements. A memorial has been established to the organ fund of Salem Congregational church.
