      HENSLEY-WALKER MARRIAGE

On Monday evening of this week Mr. Thomas J. Hensley of Fairport and Miss Sarah Laney Walker of near Darlington were united in marriage at the home of the bride's father, Nelson Walker. Notwithstanding the inclemency of the weather it was quite an enjoyable affair. After the ceremony was performed by the pastor, the happy couple, with quite a number of guest, were invited out to a very delicious repast. The groom is a farmer and is held in high esteem for his honesty and integrity. The bride has been a resident of this community all her life and as every one knows is a girl of many sterling qualities. They will for a time make their home on a farm near Fairport. We wish that they may live a long life of happiness and usefulness.
