    • (Notes from genealogist Bobbi Buettgenbach, a descendant of Jacob and Sarah (Rogers) Moyers:)

There were 2 Baxter children who died in Wapello, Iowa, listed in the Louisa County 1880 Mortality Schedule: Harvey A Baxter died at age 1, listed as father from Virginia, mother from Ohio. He died in March 1880 of diphtheria.

Andrew J Baxter died in Wapello in February 1880 at age 21, a farmer, of "cong of brain". He had lived in Iowa for nine years.

Also, Sarah's parents were from Ireland (which does not match federal census information).
