    Ed and Helen Dressler
Edward "Ed" Dressler (1904-1973) married Helen Laverne (Brumm) Wuellner (1915-1974) between 1967/69 in Chicago, Illinois, where they both resided. They had maintained a close relationship for over ten years by the time they married, and apparently it was founded not long after Helen's divorce from Reuben Wuellner, which I estimate was between 1953/55. Helen had no children from either marriage. I remember Ed, during several visits to Iowa, was not one to be very well settled or happy in a rural area after his urban upbringing.

Documents A Graduation Congratulations Card From Helen Laverne (Brumm/Wuellner) and Edgar A. "Ed" Dressler to Dennis William Brumm
This was probably sent in about May 1970. Dennis graduated from New London High School (Iowa) in May 1970. The message of the card is, "Congratulations from Both of Us. With Best Wishes on your Grauation. This brings our warmest wishes, On your Graduation Day. For more good luck and happiness, Than words could start to say... With it come Congratulations, And a note to tell you, too, We're hoping that the future, Will bring all your wishes true." The personal message is, "Congratulations, Good Luck, and Love, Aunt Helen and Uncle Ed." (At least one living or private individual is linked to this item - Details withheld.)
