    • At Swank Cemetery in Johnson County there is a larges stone celebrating the Hynes family, with the following graves nearby: Will Hynes, Nettie (Johnson-Hynes) and George Cary Eden, and Elizabeth 'Betsy' (Eden) Hynes.

    Marriage Announcement:
    • The marriage of Mr. J. Will Hynes of Conesville, Iowa, and Miss Nettie J. Johnson occurred Thanksgiving day [November 24, 1910] at noon at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Johnson, in this city. The ceremony was performed by Reverend George Blagg in the presence of immediate members of the family only. A fine wedding dinner followed. The bride and groom left on the afternoon train for their future home near Conesville.

      Mrs. Hynes is a charming young lady who was reared in this community and is a graduate of our high school of the class of 1907. She taught for some time and later was a student at Iowa Wesleyan University at Mt. Pleasant. Mr. Hynes is a young man of fine character and an energetic young farmer living near Conesville. Both these young people have many friends who join with the NEWS-HERALD in wishing them all possible happiness and good fortune.
