The House in the Country

The House in the Country

I (Dennis Brumm) lived in this little "house" in the country north of Ames for two years. It was cheap (except for heating in the winter), idyllic, and not a bad time at all. A nice woodsy area was on two sides, a giant cornfield in the back yard. Often I saw deer just roaming around and snacking. It was a great location for summer outdoor parties, too.
