Born March 13, 1965, in Fairfield, she was the daughter of Ernest and Mabel Moyers Haines. She married Gerald F. Harvey on October 4, 1986, in West Point.

Mrs. Harvey lived in West Point since 1986. She worked at Hy-Vee Food Store in Fort Madison for two years, was a day care provider from 1988 to August 2000, and then worked at Sonny's Grocery Store in West Point.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in West Point, the Altar and Rosary Society, Daughters of Isabella and the Lockridge Rough Riders Saddle Club. She was chairman of the West Point Sweet Corn Festival and the Fall Festival.

Survivors include her husband; her parents, of Fairfield; one son, Travis Harvey, at home; two daughters, Ashley and Leah Harvey, at home; three brothers, William and Leo Haines, both of Fairfield, and Ronald Haines of West Branch; two sisters, Elna Haines of Bloomfield and Janet Sutter of Mount Pleasant; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will begin at noon Wednesday at Link Funeral Home in West Point, where a rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. A Christian vigil service will be at 7:30 p.m.

The funeral for Mrs. Harvey will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in West Point, with the Reverend David Wilkening officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, West Point.

A memorial has been established for her children's education.
