• Gravestone Inscription. 6 August Gustav Abrahamson's grave is located in Kossuth Cemetery near Mediapolis, Iowa. The inscription on his stone is: "Abrahamson, August F. July 2, 1852 - October 20, 1906"

• Research. On the 1900 federal census it certainly looks as if August listed his age at marriage as 19 rather than at age 29, in which case he may have had a wife before Emma.
