The daughter of Tom and Cora Congrove Baird, she was born January 9, 1899 at Newport, Iowa. On September 20, 1919 she married Earl Moyers at Newport. Mrs. Moyers was an employee of the J. S. Schramm Company for the past 20 years as a seamstress. She was a member of the Methodist church.

She is survived by one son and one daughter: Wendell Moyers, Burlington, Iowa and Mrs. Phyllis White, Wilmette, Illinois.; seven grandchildren; one brother and seven sisters: Mr. Max Baird, La Mesa, California, Mrs. Mildred Pogemiller, Wapello, Iowa, Mrs. Hallie Mattson, Everleth, Minnesota, and Mrs. Freda Wilson, Mrs. Opal Nichols, Mrs. Myrtle Hamilton, Mrs. Wilma Bryant, and Mrs. Jean Griffin, [and] one Aunt, Mrs. Serilda Baird, all of Morning Sun.

Funeral services will be at the Methodist church in Morning Sun, with burial in the Elmwood cemetery at Morning Sun.
