• Research. 12 After separation in 1907 from William P. Walker, someone wrote, "William P. Walker was a mean man. He gave Mary a farm (in Gowrie, Iowa ??) and he sold a couple of farms. Mary's children, especially May's husband Wallace, helped Mary find a way to live.

• Research. A photo of Art Anderson was found in a group of William Pearsey Walker family photographs. He may be a nephew of Mary's.

Mary married William Pearsey Walker, son of Francis Samuel "Sam" Walker and Catherine B. Pearsey, between 1865 and 1866.1 (William Pearsey Walker was born on June 6, 1841 in Milton, Wayne County, Indiana,1 died on April 29, 1924 in Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska 13 and was buried on May 1, 1924 in the Wyuka Cemetery, Lancaster County, Nebraska 13.)
