Apparently he was already dead. Researcher Ada Blanchard believes Jehiel may be buried in the Farlow Cemetery near New London, Henry County, Iowa. Jehiel married Vashti Annie Walker, daughter of Francis Samuel "Sam" Walker and Catherine B. Pearsey, on November 11, 1855 in Wabash County, Indiana.1 (Vashti Annie Walker was born on January 21, 1833 in Milton, Wayne County, Indiana 2 and died on January 31, 1929 in Iowa 5.)
