It is uncertain where/who originally wrote these:) • Obituary: the Lincoln Star, April 30, 1924, Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska. 2 William Walker, 82 years old, died at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Albert Westberg, 2015 K street. He was a veteran of the Civil war and a member of the GAR post at Novelty, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hodgman's chapel. Reverend Walter Aitken will officiate, assisted by Farragut Post No. 25, GAR Interment will be made in Wyuka cemetery. William married Mary Anderson, daughter of (Father - 03818) Anderson and Mary (Unknown), between 1865 and 1866.1 (Mary Anderson was born in April 1844 in Henry County, Iowa 6 10 11 15 and died after 1914 5.)
